Grand & Quincy was created to serve a specific niche in the California workers' compensation system. Psychiatric medical-legal claims are often contentious and confusing. Psychiatric medical-legal evaluators can serve a critical function in the workers' compensation system when their medical expertise, knowledge of California labor laws and regulations, and writing abilities are used to decrease confusion, and thereby decrease the contentiousness, of psychiatric medical-legal claims. Participants in the workers' compensation system need access to psychiatric medical-legal evaluators who they can trust to provide honest, clear, and straightforward evaluation reports that allow claims to be adjudicated in the most expedient and non-contentious manner possible. Our goal is to become the preferred psychiatric medical-legal evaluators in the California workers compensation system.
Grand & Quincy was founded by Drs. Alexis and Patrick Link, both experienced psychiatric qualified medical-legal evaluators and graduates of the psychiatry training program of the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital.
